meet me below the surface

I grew up in a small town in Austria, where there were probably more cows than people.

At 19, I decided to „go see the world“ by becoming an Au pair in the US. All of a sudden I was a role model for someone else and quickly realized the importance of what I do, how I behave and what I say.

My host kids (pre-teens at the time) were directly affected by it.

Then, LA was a special chapter.

There – people live to express themselves.
I loved the performing arts, the diversity, the music. The city instilled something fundamental in me: dreaming big.

No vision is too big for LA.

It’s where I remember listening to one of Simon Sineks Ted Talks for the first time. Personal Development entered my life.

At 22 I decided to attend an EQ & Leadership course in Las Vegas, which has been a significant turn for me.

I then started my first company in the US with 23 – the envelope I’m holding in the picture contains my first check 🙂

If it wasn’t for the people around me at the time, I would have never even dared to try!

Time for the red hair era to end: life steered me into strategic development — a world of structure, KPIs, and long meetings.

While focusing on processes, I naturally pick up on what is between the lines — the unspoken dynamics, moods and intentions that actually drive people.

After some time in my role, I felt disconnected from my creativity and ultimately burnt out. I remember telling one of my coaches, “I think I’m lost.”

He smiled and said: “You’re not lost. You just need a change.”
He was very right.

So, I made that change my mission 🙂

Changed career, left my home & traveled through Asia on my own.

Let me confirm: those questionable bus rides really instill deep courage in you! I love a good adventure.

Through Vipassana and working with my mind I realized: this engine between our ears is WAY more powerful than we anticipate.

I made it my mission to bring awareness to the mind-body connection and it’s direct affect on our wellbeing.
